[softwarelist] Re: OPW - Black is Black, or not

I have two OPW documents created from the same Master Page and with the same Styles, Fonts, etc.

In one of the documents, the text appears as I would expect - a strong BLACK colour/tint. In the other, BLACK is a DARK GREY. If I open the colour picker on each document in turn, I can see a clear difference in the "BLACK" tint.

What has gone wrong? And how do I correct it? What should I be looking for in the DDL?

It is possible to redefine colours:

Misc->Edit Colour
click on black
click on Edit

by that means you could make "black" pink. In this context you'd be more likely to use the above route to check if black is defined as black in both documents. That brings up questions like is black defined in the same colour model, and if the model is CMYK how is black defined - as 100%K or 100% of CMY (and possibly K).

Colour definitions are near the start of DDL. So you'd probably load the DDL into Notepad and search for "black".

Less sophisticated, you could just have bodytext defined as a different tint of black.
