Problems with the RISC OS CD. There is some sort of bug or incompatibility in CD reading on RISC OS 4, for this reason RISC OS Ltd. have long had the CDFS from RISC OS 3.70 available on their web site. I've had to sort out CD problems for many people, however one can't expect such advice or changes to installations of RISC OS to persist.
(Grumpy) Windows. Some of the CDs do time out, but you should only have to enter your registration data to get it to run. However for Windows the full latest version of the CD is available on line. So why would you bother with the CD anyway.
