I have a table which the 2 bottom lines are spaced further apart than
the others if I click enter on the end of the bottom line to create a
new line the previous 2 lines close up.
What tends to happen is that you get say the last code in the paragraph
with different effects to the rest of the text - and that code being
something like a newline it is invisible.
The point is that it can be difficult to select all the text. So this
problem arises because you've not selected every bit of the text at some
earlier point in proceedings or when you try to follow (e.g. Bernard's)
advice to select the text and clear all effects.
Perhaps a bit technical but if you select the text and save out the
selection as DDL you can see where the effects actually are.
In summary then the fix is to select *all the text* and then apply the
styles or effects which get the text size right.
The trick being in how you select all the text. I would suggest
control+caret left (or down as appropriate) and then mark back to the
start of the text.
Experiment there are lots of ways...
