Hello, David,
Sorry but I may have thrown in a red herring in there. When I worked on the
tests for my previous message, the overlapping lines had played some silly
games when I tried to change the leading! It does seem to be that absolute
leading determines the distance between the origins of the lines but
relative leading seems to behave differently. I'll experiment again
tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
