In OP four lines which make up a rectangle are different to a rectangular frame.
The Object->Shape menu gives you a choice of rectangle or regular polygon with four sides.
It is fairly easy to see the difference because you can't use the path edit tool on rectangular frames.
I probably over did it with my previous comments, I just meant that there are many causes of bugs. Sometimes what causes a problem for one person is something which no one else ever sees.
