Alan
I regularly do this between a RiscPC (RISC OS 4.39) and Windows XP SP2 PC,
both at home. The Windows PC has an 'All-in-One' printer, scanner, copier
attached and digital camera input. You need to remame your file to have a
'.dpd' extension on the PC otherwise OPro will not recognise it.
You also need to be careful of the fonts you choose to ensure that both
versions appear the same. Other issues are print margins but these are
common when transferring any file between computers.
I find the PC version particularly good for creating PDF files as this can
be reliably done for free. I use PDFCreator.
All the best

How do I import impression documents into OvnPro for Windows. The
Transfilter is installed. Does the impression file have to have a
suffix like OvnPro has .dpd if so what. At present I am going back to
RISC-OS to import them.
Impression document files should have extension .imp
Impression document folders have to be dropped into an OPW window,
document files should be opened using the File->Open menu entry.

I use OPro on Riscos and Opro on my PC (it is wonderful) can I
interchange them. Can I install OPro on my Hospital computor (PC) and
take a Ovation File from my Riscos by using a pen or emaiing it and
work on it on the hospital PC and visa versa?
Yes I would need to buy another copy for my PC at the hospital.
Blessings
