The thing is that TransFSI depends on ChangeFSI.
I believe you tried your copy of ChangeFSI on the file and that didn't work. There are newer better versions of ChangeFSI available. Just where one gets the latest version from I'm hoping someone will tell me.
Even with the latest ChangeFSI there is always the possibility that your GIF file has some feature that means ChangeFSI can't process it.
Finally for John Grogan - ISTR that ChangeFSI does not handle transparency in GIFs.
