[softwarelist] Find and Replace

OPro v2.77 quit as I tried a find and replace action today.

Here's what I was doing. Tell me if this is beyond its capabilities.
Text reads:

Oliver<s in Dunedin this week on TV ONE after >Calendar Girls".

(Note, they're NOT square brackets) 
The text has many of these top-bit characters.
I wanted to Find Oliver<s and replace with Oliver's. 

  Highlight '=92'
  Ctrl-c copy to clipboard
  F4  
  Ctrl-v to paste '=92' in Find icon
  Type ' in Replace icon
  Tick Find from Start 
  Click Go
  OPro quits without error.

I restarted OPro and tried to repeat it but it stayed running, first
claiming "Not Found!", then after a few more attempts, it worked! 
Is this some feature of F&R whereby it won't see a character until the
second attempt? I often notice that Find & Replace will claim "Not
Found!" on the first attempt, then will find it at another try.

I've now installed SRWE 0.03.
