I agree copy chapter is the best thing on offer. However you had already said that, and I was merely offering a way to make what Charles had suggested quicker.
Sometimes Edit->Select All followed by a few right clicks (RISC OS) or control clicks (Windows) is the quickest way to select what you want. Or maybe Ctrl+Shift+Select Drag to select all the objects inside the resulting drag box.
It is a pity there is no option to copy the contents of a page - including linked stories. Or as people often say a save page as Draw feature.
