Thanks for the detailed info, I'm going to need a few reads of it, and

Btw. The single page does not have a link with itself (Green arrow on
master page running bottom right to top left, as I removed that yesterday
when noting Mr P's comment about linked frames.

It's obviously something else I'm not doing...
However, after work today, I'll go throught it all again in the light of
your info.
