[softwarelist] CrossStar oddity with RISC OS 5.13

I've been meaning to report this for some time, in the meanwhile
scratching my head as to what might have caused it.
If I do, with CrossStar 2.12 on RISC OS 5.13:
1) Open a grid, and type across it, say,
[blank][blank][blank][blank][blank]then three letters
2) Highlight these eight squares and click on "Solve":
I get a list of solutions which starts appropriately, and then further
down the list (usually from about words starting with "l") words which
increasingly have no relation to the letters in the grid, either in
number or in relevance to the three letters I have typed. The real
oddity is that if I do exactly the same in VRPC running 4.02 (David, I
hope it's OK to have it on both machines!), same version and same
dictionaries, it all comes out quite correctly.
The only thing I can think of is that in 5.13 the dictionaries are
shared with Messenger Pro as well as OPro, and Messenger is always
running; Messenger isn't on the VRPC setup at all, but OPro is.
Any ideas, anyone?
TIA,
With best wishes,
Peter.
