Read the manual I wrote, also available on Chris Johnson's site, once
over. Print it. Then with the manual next to you slowly start using
IdxPro. After some time your working flow will accelerate. Do this
with the windoze version, goes much faster.

I do not see why. As long as you change your actual document. Of
course if you paste the contents to a new document you will lose all
your tags.
