Thanks -- I couldn't find the marquee drag option. In fact, with the frame
then selected by this route, changing it back to rectangular and then to
polygon again seems to reset things.
I wish I'd known about that last night...

I've seen it before, so there's obviously something that I sometimes do that
triggers the problem. I use polygon frames a fair bit, however, so it's
clearly not /that/ common a bug.
