[softwarelist] Bizarre behaviour with borders!

Can anyone help!

I am trying to create and print a simple certificate in OvationPro and am
using a border that I have copied from Impression.  I have placed the
border into OvationPro's !OvnResDir.Borders folder.

When I print to my laser printer the corners of the border print but the
lines joining them do not.  When I print to my inkjet printer the corners
print, the lines on the short sides of the paper print but those on the
long sides do not!  

When I print to a .pdf file using RComp's PDFMaker then the lines and
corners both print.  (That would be a good workaround except that then
one of the fonts I have used in the document is replaced by Homerton!)

I really can't work out what on earth is going on!  Any ideas?
