[softwarelist] Artworks and Ovation

I'm being incredibly dumb but each time I try to pull an Artworks 
picture into an OP frame I get the following message:

"Inserted file is of type artworks not text. Are you sure you want to 
proceed?"

Press Yes and all I get is the AW header and then gibberish. An 
ordinary drawfile goes in with no problem...

What is the silly little thing that I'm missing?

I have got AWrender 2.05 and OP 2.77, running on RPC SA 4.39
