The Filecore problem is quite drastic but is really a follow up error
and outside the control of OP. It is probably caused by invalid
parameters OP passes to RISC OS in response to the faulty document,
which cause an abort inside FileCore. This should never happen, so
this would count as a RISC OS filing system bug. In an ideal world a
faulty application should not be able to bring down the complete
system by passing incorrect parameters, but RISC OS is not
particularly good at protecting itself from faulty applications. In
fact, nowadays, you would not even expect an application to be able to
do this deliberately, which is even more difficult to prevent.
