Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Dance
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual from 1 September 2007 (or as soon as
possible thereafter) with a high level of expertise in one or more of the
following areas: contemporary choreography, interdisciplinary dance
performance, socio-cultural applications of dance. Qualified to PhD level (or
be nearing completion) you will possess experience in research with the
potential to establish an international reputation and have experience of or
the capacity to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
From July 2007, the School will be based in a new purpose-built theatre and
studio complex in the heart of the Leeds city campus. This post offers a unique
opportunity to be a part of the growing cultural relationship between the
University and the city of Leeds, evident in such developments as our
partnership with Opera North.

part in this by conducting research with international significance and
contributing to the development of outstanding graduates and scholars.
Lecturer - University Grade 7 (£29,138 - £31,840 p.a.) or University Grade 8
(£32,795 - £39,160 p.a.) or Senior Lecturer - University Grade 9 (£40,335-
£46,758 p.a.) dependent upon qualifications and experience
