[dance-tech] Perfomance/Installation

CONTAINED
Performance/Installation
Contained is a collaborative and interactive, hybrid
work 
(performance/installation) that utilizes technology to
blur artistic 
boundaries and challenges notions of
presentation/audience. The artists 
have created a generative, improvising, real-time
multimedia 
environment using both commercial and custom designed
software in 
conjunction with dedicated hardware sensors, motorized
robotics and 
real time processing or text, video, images and
sound. Contained is improvisatory in nature,
principles of movement 
improvisation are employed in the creation of the
imagery, sound, and 
movement generated by the system.
