A message to all members of dance-tech.net (relayed
Hello Network,
this is Marlon, the network producer.
Welcome new members! We surpassed 250 members!
We are growing in members, activity and supporters.
I am happy to frame this message from Deirdre Towers to all members:
"
I am very optimistic about the potential of dance-tech.net and excited to
be a new member and also institutional friends I invite you to get to know
DFA, the oldest dance film
organization still chugging along. We are very curious to explore new
partners, new ventures! Right now, we are taking entries for the second
Young Choreographers Initiative open to artists living in NYC between the
ages of 16 and 25. The deadline for that is April 30th.

Also for members
of DFA -- always happy to have new members -- we offer post-production
grants.

Hope to meet you soon,

PS: I invite you to join the Dance on Camera group...and any other group...or
create a new one"
That was Deirdre! Thank you.
So, I am happy because we have more supporters and they are offering direct
benefits for your participation":

This is a great opportunity to invite you to contribute to the network with
any kind of input and uses.
I want to thank all our institutional friends for their openness and shared
vision. I would like to make clear that dance-tech.net has not received any
money as a donation. Institutional friends are willing to
offer their support creating benefits for the network members.
My main goal i is that dance tech.net remains FREE!
In the near future I will announce the ways to support the network with a
Paypal donation system and /or make a tax-deductible contribution via "Cyber
Arts Festival" who is kindly giving the network fiscal support.
You can also contribute with the network helping to edit podcasts (using
JumpCut) or transcribing some of the interviews. Whatever you think is
necessary you can help to produce it or motivate its production in your
hometown!.
This is not my blog, it is OUR community.
That's all folks!
Marlon
