Dance Camera West Film Festival offers a unique opportunity for choreographers, directors, filmmakers, and dancers to take part in a four-day workshop with international award winning dance film director Thierry DeMey. Hosted by UCLA Department of World Arts and Cultures set in the heart of Westwood during the Los Angeles Film Festival this in-depth workshop is a must for those interested in making Dance on Screen.
Designed for both established and emerging artists Mr. DeMey’s workshop will hold discussions, screenings, lectures, and experiments to increase your knowledge in creating dance screen work. Workshop sessions will take place June 23 - 26 in the Glorya Kaufman Hall on the campus of UCLA with a special public screening of Thierry DeMey’s work on Saturday evening June 23 at the REDCAT, downtown L.A.
