Senior Lecturer in Dance (0.5 fte)

Salary range: £29,138 to £39160 per annum
£14,569 to £19,580 Pro rata


The University of Chichester seeks to appoint a dance practitioner
with experience of teaching within the Higher Education Sector. You
will be a proactive team player and demonstrate the energy and
enthusiasm to contribute to our exciting, practical undergraduate
programme. A strong or emerging research profile
(national/international) would be an advantage.

Specialist areas could include Choreography, Dance & Technology/Film,
European Dance History, Cultural Dance Studies, Community Dance and
Dance Pedagogy. With an expanded programme of MA Dance pathways that
include a performance company (Mapdance), a Makers and Independent
Researcher the post can accommodate and provide an excellent and
challenging opportunity to current dance practitioner or experienced
senior lecturer.
