And ASSP does not see EIMS when it launches.
There is really no need to run the daemon. I don't run it. Sounds to me like you are having issues with the daemon. Don't worry with it just use the EIMS APP.
Further, I have ASSP using launchd, and that works, but it seems to start before EIMS (when using open at login). Thus ASSP does not load, as it can't connect to the mail server.
You need to move eims to listen to different ports. See docs on CTW for setup. There is no problem with assp starting before eims
