L'appel de candidature pour la coprésidence du sous-comités des spécialistes des amphibiens et reptiles du COSEPAC est maintenant affiché sur le site Web du COSEPAC et ceci du 19 juin au 24 août 2009 (jusqu'à 15:00 heure de l'est).

Nous allons aviser les départements de biologie/zoologie de toutes les universités au Canada de cet appel de candidature, attirant aussi leur attention à la fonction du site Web du COSEPAC permettant de s'enregistrer pour recevoir un avis automatique lors des appels de candidatures et des appels d'offres pour d'éventuels rédacteurs de rapports de situation des espèces.
Nous allons également aviser plusieurs organisations et associations s'intéressant aux espèces sauvages partout au Canada ainsi que les présidents des équipes de rétablissement des espèces en péril.

The call for application for Co-chair of the Amphibians & Reptiles Species Specialist Subcommittees of COSEWIC is now posted on the COSEWIC website and this from June 19 to August 24, 2009 (until 3:00pm Eastern time).

We will notify the biology/zoology departments of all universities across Canada of this call for application, drawing to their attention the feature on the COSEWIC website where you can register to be notified automatically of future calls for applications or for bids on species status reports.
We will also notify several wildlife organizations and associations across Canada as well as Species at Risk Recovery team chairs.
