Hello Patrick Ryan,

I am writing to invite you to attend a free science outreach training workshop 
at Memorial University on November 28.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has provided funding to offer 
a unique training workshop called Science with Impact® at several Universities 
across Canada.  This workshop, developed and presented by Let's Talk Science, 
provides scientists, engineers, and technology professionals with effective 
strategies to plan and conduct science and technology outreach with youth in a 
variety of settings.

The workshop is offered free of charge and will appeal to you if you are just 
getting started with outreach activities, or if you already have some 
experience and are interested in enhancing your presentations.

Please circulate this information to members of the Canadian Society of 
Environmental Biologists and to anyone else who you think would be interested 
in this workshop.

DATE: Friday November 28th, 2008

TIME: 9:00am - 12:00pm

LOCATION: Inco Innovation Centre, Rm 1004
