Earthroots invites you to a special evening with Dr. David Suzuki in
support of the Friends of the Frost Centre

The Friends of the Frost Centre are making a bid to reopen the Leslie M.
Frost Natural Resource Centre and operate this popular outdoor learning
centre, located near Dorset, Ontario.  This renowned facility was closed
by the provincial government 18 months ago.  

 

The event:  

 

Environmental Stewardship: Forging the Future for the Frost Centre

Join the Friends of the Frost Centre for an impassioned presentation by
Dr. David Suzuki on the importance of environmental education. Musical
performances by David Archibald and Lani Billard will also be a
highlight of the evening.

 

When:  Thursday, February 9, 7:00 pm
             Come early and mingle with the Friends of the Frost Centre

Where:  The Macleod Auditorium, Medical Sciences Building, 
              University of Toronto, 1 King's College Circle, Toronto.

Tickets:  $35/person; $25/student

Tickets can be mailed to you or picked up at door on night of event.
Ticket cost is tax deductible for income tax purposes - retain ticket

100% of the proceeds will go towards the Friends of the Frost and their
efforts to reopen the Frost Centre for environmental and outdoor
education.  The Friends of the Frost Centre is a registered charitable
organization.  Dr. Suzuki's books, music CD's of the performers, and
memberships will be available for purchase at the Friends display in the
lobby. 

The Friends of the Frost Centre are very grateful for Dr. Suzuki's
support of this initiative.
