[cseb national] CSEB Update - 2006 Conference Cancelled

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on some of the things which have been
happening with CSEB this year.  Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the
2006 Conference as we were not able to organize everything in the required
time period.  A board of Directors meeting is scheduled for 24 October 2006
and we are planning to have a web-conference in November for the AGM.  More
details will be posted on the website as they become available.  As many of
you have noticed, the CSEB website has been out of commission for the last
few weeks as we transferred over to a new host.  The site is now back up and
running, please feel free to visit!

I have one other thing that I would like to mention to our members since we
won¹t be having a conference this year and I won¹t have the chance to meet
and talk with everyone.  I would really like to encourage any members who
would be interested in helping out with regional chapters to get in touch
with me.  We really need people to help out with quarterly newsletter
submissions as well as to inject some life back into the regional chapters
by holding a meeting or talk.  Don¹t be shy, please email or call me anytime
- I promise I won¹t try to cajole you into doing more than you want...
