In the UK, certain criminal offences will be tried by computer soon. Apparently computer algorithms are better than human beings at being judges. A new science of Cyberlaw has been invented.

A real bonus to those who fiddle tram and rail fares and might have to take a long journey to go to court, as many magistrates courts are getting closed down, due to cost considerations, so those criminals who get on trains without paying can now be tried by a computer found guilty and be allocated a fine or other sentence...
