Blindside is fine, just run behind the enemy.

Wait mode is great.

Scan enemies.  Check weaknesses.  Use the appropriate weapons and magic.

Flanking is a big thing.  Getting those blindside attacks drops enemies quickly.

Same using appropriate buddy techniques

like, and hit the dodge when prompted. Seems to be working out okay, but I do

You’re not issuing any orders. They just do their own thing. There is a bar
that builds up that allows you to direct one of the team to do something.

Your job is to control the main character and if one of the team seems to be
dying, give them a potion.

I got used to that pretty quickly.

Since there are no traditional "healing" magic in the game, items are getting
used.

I have barely needed to purchase healing items yet tho.  Ive purchased 1-3
random potions or elixirs here and there when I think there was chance of
running out but I havent run into that problem yet.

I’m not a fan of the reduced HP bars. All too often one of the other guys goes

Its a sidemission at the chocobo place that you can do once you hit chapter 3.

They speed up general moving around the map allot.

Need to look into that. I've considered going to Taiwan, actually. Recently
applied for work there. The pay isn't bad. I've taught Taiwanese students
before; they're a lot more mellow than the Chinese. Yeah, not too keen on

Ran into a "game breaking" bug yesterday in FF15.

There is auto saves far enough backwards to recover but lost a bit of gameplay.

Got stuck in room with no exit at a hunt location(deadeye sidequest).

Fairly sure its because they instructed me to "run away" and I just killed him
instead.  Hence the exit to the area is blocked by some debris that probably
gets cleared if you follow the script.
