Good evening,
I am writing on behalf of Castlehill and Pittodrie City Council.
We would like to state our support for the preservation of Victoria Road
Primary School.
We believe that the demolition of this historical granite building would be
against city policy on the preservation of granite buildings, but more
importantly, the demolition of this building would be a missed opportunity to
respect and preserve the history and heritage of Torry, as an important part
of greater Aberdeen.
We would support the use of the building by reverting to being refurbished as
a school fir for the 20th century, or to be developed as affordable housing.
