400Mhz, 64 Meg Ram, 4-10gig HD. Mac OS 9.2.2 Acrobat 5 broke IE. Nothing will
run on this. Someone included 10.2 BUT it needs at least 128 meg ram and
Crucial only has 512 for $96 This is going to be a hard sell to Grandma. It has
clarisworkd 5.
IE loads to something in something .ppc reinstall. I reinstalled IE and even
rebooted. It has Netscape 4.2 but nothing displays in it properly. Firefox,
Mozilla needs 10.x and Safari does not look like it is on it and is only part
of the OS so that means gotta install 10.x
Plus I think it would be easier to use. I could not even figure out how to
create desktop shortcuts.
When SBC Yahoo Dial-up walked me through setting it up, Might have taken me
hours to figure it out myself. It was hard. Not easy like people say Mac's are
Thanks,
Eric
