With finals and so much going on I was following instructions with a linux boot recover program only thing the ding dong author assumes that the bad disk is sda, well I see he said to make sure you format the right one, so I did. Well I was doing so much I forgot to change sda to sdc or sdd. I realized what I did and stopped it from formatting to ext3. But it is too late. Other than pulling out the drive is there any easy way to get in and hopes of maybe getting to partition D and seeing if the data is ok? Non linux wise. If everything in tack I will just re-install windows, otherwise I have to recover files. I do not care that C is wrecked. I wish I saved that backup file for the MCE guide, but oh well. Or maybe I did.
