Same here John, VMware Server is a great "free" product. No need to Workstation. I downloaded VirtualBox and tried it out some time ago. From what I remember, it did not have USB Support and has networking issues. (I'm sure that has changed with recent updates). --Peter -----Original Message----- From: computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of John Madden Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 6:58 PM To: computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [CTS] Re: Question - reposted On Wednesday 19 November 2008, Peter wrote: > 1. VMware server is a great product (and free as in freeware) and I just don't see the point in buying Workstation actually. I started using VirtualBox a while ago though and I found that it runs a LOT better, lighter on memory, better performance (for a windows VM, at least).
