[CTS] Re: Question

Thanks, Hal! You are still the "Link Man" in my book! But, alas, as you
thought, this one doesn't pertain to me...

The only thing I can think of, that is odd.. is that I do an update on my virus
protections daily... (no dear, that's *not* the odd part! LOL) this morning
(before all of this started) I got a pop up from my NAV software that told me
my defs were out of date.. so I clicked "okay" to download the new ones...
pretty normal so far.. right? Then the odd thing was that once it did the scan
for updates, I got another popup from my NAV saying that everything was up to
date... and nothing needed to be updated.

I just this minute, out of curiosity, did a live update again.. and it
downloaded new defs!

This is all to strange.

I'll run a virus scan and see if that comes up with anything.

Thanks again, Hal!

Are you sure you do not have a virus?

See this about missing restore points,

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.co
m:80/support/kb/articles/q301/2/24.asp&NoWebContent=1

Not sure it applies to you however.

Have you got a recent backup you can use to restore system?
