Lately it has been nearly easier to install than Windows, at least when you compare it to Vista. I like Ubuntu both on the desktop/laptop platform and server and it is a Debian based release. The current 7.10 finds everything on my HP laptop, wife's Compal laptop, and the HP Visualize Xclass workstation with SCSI I have as well as the spare server. Kunbuntu is similar with a KDE windowing, I prefer the Ubuntu windowing. Edubuntu is a release for school use on minimal hardware. I like Redhat too but it's too clunky for home and occasional use, like the difference between Windows 2000 and Novell. ->-----Original Message----- ->From: computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ->[mailto:computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Charles R. ->Buchanan ->Sent: Saturday, November 17, 2007 10:36 PM ->To: computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ->Subject: [CTS] Re: Linux -> -> ->Or is it that you can't figure out just how to?
