Try this list from Epson for tips on the trouble you're
experiencing, perhaps the answer is there. There is a
"printer will not print" tip in there.

I would have removed the printer from the PC via
printer properties, shut down and then physically
removed the connection to the PC.
Following this action I would made certain the printer
is not installed and then would've proceeded to
reinstall the printer and the drivers. Perhaps newer
drivers are available from Epson and should be tried in
place of the ones on the CD. Always remove/reinstall
printer when PC is turned off.
