[COMP] portable mp3 players

I started looking into portable MP3 players today, and I found something really
cool that I didn't know had made it to market yet: the equivalent of a discman
that can play mp3's right off your data cd-r/cd-rw's! They're not all that
expensive either- I found one for $99.
What I'm wondering is: does anyone have any experience with these? Has anyone
heard anything about which one(s) is/are better?
