Well, first off, "Sound Blaster Emulation" is not "Sound Blaster Compatible,"
so if you were counting on the "emulation" to get the card to work, you're
probably out of luck.  That emulation is done through software (yeck), which is
probably a tightly kept secret. :(  Check the hardware compatibility list at
linuxdocs.org (should be there) to see if that card will work under linux.

And /proc/ioports is what you want to find that 0x220 address for the card. 
/proc/pci will tell you its mem address.
