Because you are under DOS the CD rom drivers are not loaded, that's why
drive d: is invalid, you need to copy a driver to your hd and add a few
lines to config.sys and autoexec.bat
CONFIG.SYS :
[common]
DEVICE=C:\CDROM\AOATAPI.SYS /D:IDECD000
AUTOEXEC.BAT :
C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:IDECD000
of course, these file names and directories are just examples, after
reboot, drive D: should work
