[COMP] downtime

Well, looks like GTE blew it again.  The DSL modem is installed and
functioning, but the ISP side of the equation isn't functioning at
all.  I've had little help from their tech support, but someone's supposed
to be contacting me within 24 hours.  

In the meantime, I have to take the server down -- my lease here is up
tomorrow.  It looks like we're going to have substantial downtime, and I
have no idea how much.  I'll keep everyone posted.
