[COMP] Scanner and Digital camera errors! (Orig. a Comp Email)

Hi..I'm having a similar problem with Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition 3.1.  I 
received a Kodak Digital Camera, and for the life of me I can't get the Adobe 
to work, I get some kind of a DLL. error.  Then after that error it says 
PD3.exe. "a device attached to the system is not functioning"..now..the 
camera works, on my pc etc. I used EZ Photo (which also came with it via 
Adobe) and I can view my pictures, re: everything works fine that way, but 
Adobe will not open. I have uninstalled and installed 3 times.  Now..the dll 
error is something about "Shell32.dll being linked to a missing export file 
SHLWAPI.DLL:SHRegGetUSValueA."
I went to Kodak's site, I went to Adobe's site...and nada...Anyone have any 
ideas?
