[COMP] Recording mp3's.

What is the best program for recording mp3's...The only program I have is 
adaptec for my cd/rw. I don't think it will do mp3's.   Do I need a special 
one and if so..which is the best and easiest..easy being the key word?  Free 
would be nice too..something I can download???? Maybe??
I have about 9 mp3's sitting on my hd and I would love to put them on a cd.
