[COMP] Re: Power Management Question

I have this enabled on my desktop PC, but I leave it online with network
drives, servers, etc enabled.

Whenever a request is made, the hard drive just starts up again but it can
cause delays. This is particularly noticable when I open files from my
laptop, I have to wait for the drives to start spinning.

These settings have been enabled for 2 years on the Windows 95 machine, and
several months on my dads Windows 98 SE Machine with no noticed problems.
