[COMP] Mouse Problem

Hello,

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1A PS/2 for my Linux machine.  I have it
plugged into the serial port using a PS/2 to Serial adapter, and I can't
seem to get it to work.  Does anyone know a solution to this problem?  Using
Redhat 7.
