[COMP] Low-end 3D accelerator reviews

For those of us who can't afford $500 on a video card that does 3D,

I've cut in on the middle of the article, where they're actually comparing
performance, so you may want to go back a few pages to get the actual
hardware discussion.
For what it's worth, I picked up a 32MB (DDR!) Hercules GeForce 256, and
even under linux, I'm pretty impressed with its 3D performance. I had one
go bad on me though within about two weeks. But for $200, I couldn't ask
for much more.
