As little as I'm able to use either, and as much as generally dislike the
whole CLI thing, I gotta tell ya...slackware is far more preferable to this
newbie than redhat. It's not so bad in the point and click world if you know
where what you just clicked on came from, (as it is for me w/windows), but
w/RedHat, well...i'll just leave it at this... slackware was a better starter
program for me.
