[COMP] Re: Linux HOWTOs

When in Linux, I was amazed at how fast my modem worked. Whilst in Netscape,
downloading was at 3.8k/s whereas in Win95 it is normally around 1.8 - 3k/s.

Hoping to get @Home connected here. Was launched in Sydney about 2 months
ago. A friend who got connected - using IPmasq, etc, gets downloads of
around 480k/s, but uploads are capped at 19k/s. And, it's only $38 US
($59.95 AUD) a month with static IP address and no limits (sounds good).

It is about time something like that came to Australia.

Enough of my rambling.
