If I understand the articles correctly, then if your using 98se ICS then
the client machine, will be displaying the server machines internet
history, (the server being the one connected to the modem or otherwise
connected to the internet for those lurking)
Geez, if my box was the one connected to the internet, and I didnt know
this, then who ever I was proxying for (or should I say NATing for?) they
would be able to see where ever I went.
I was hoping to use the NAT to hide a box behind, seems to me if they share
history, then do they also share anything else?
then if one is compromised, that one can allow access to the other?
not very secure.
But there is alot I don't know about all of this- there are 65,000 ports?
how do you lock em all down and still get any work done....
