[COMP] Just found out this about ics as firewall

Geez, a couple weeks ago I was trying to use 98se ICS as a firewall. I
did it succesfully for awhile, got paranoid about windows file printer
sharing (so that's smb?) and attempted to bind only client for ms to a
dummy dialup adaptor (we have cable) and no client for ms to what goes
outside (nics or tcp bound to anything) and i couldnt get it to stay
that way....kept on going back to windows family logon....anyway I
bagged the idea in favor of a real linux firewall that is also a
router.....

Just found out new issuses about what I was attempting to do with 98se
ICS. If I'd done it this way from what I read (if I'm interpreting this
correctly) then client machines would have been able to browse the
history of a server machine.
and maybe vise versa? doesnt sound too secure to me?
