Recently when trying to download applications from an internet web page such
as PC World for Spam Hater or POW for doing away with unwanted pop-ups on a
visited web page I keep getting this error message box:
"ERROR LOCATING OBJECT HANDLER" --"there is no viewer available for the type
of object you are trying to open". Then it goes on to say possible location
of viewer: Microsoft ActiveX Gallery and asks if I want to go to this site
and download a viewer for this type of object. When I say "yes" and go to
the Microsoft site, nothing there helps me find a "viewer". Would
appreciate any help anyone can give me.
I am running Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 5.0.
Thank you.
L. Bodeker
