[COMP] Re: CrossOver cabling

Yes the hub has seperate LEDS, but one is for
LINK/ACTIVITY and the other is for FDX/COL(Full
Dup/Collisons)
and the manual that came with the hub gives the
following explanation for when both are blinking:
LINK/ACT(blinking) - Port is receiving or transmitting
data
FDX/COL(blinking) - a packet collison is occuring in
this port.
As I said, both sets of LEDS are blinking at the same
time, constantly.
The cable is not Cat 5, in fact I don't think it is
cat cable at all, (how do you tell if it is CAT
anyway?)
